While mine was a rather low-key start to the New Year…about 40 minutes away from Tulum, was a raging dance party taking over Mexico. Starting December 30th for 10 days, 20,000 people attended, with 30 different events around Playa Del Carmen; this beach town turned into one big party.
The BPM Festival is an annual electronic music festival, which takes place in the beginning of January in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico. DJs, producers and partygoers come to this destination to network and start the New Year off right. This year expect to see Dubfire, Jamie Jones, Guy Gerber, Steve Angello, Steve Lawler, Richie Hawtin, Art Dept and many more. Think Vegas meets Ibiza meets Miami, this party is a guaranteed good time.
So if you’ve had enough relaxation in Tulum, stop by BPM on the way back to Cancun airport….just be careful not to miss your flight!!
