What turns you on?
Authority, intelligence, arrogance, sensitivity, confidence, humor, elegance, efficiency, the internal workings of a clock or a car, mathematical problems, danger.
What turns you off?
Most of the things that turn me on, can also turn me off if they’re not executed with some precision and care. A person must be a masterful diagnostician when it comes to reading other people and calibrating their behavior.
What sound do you love?
My brother saying “I love you,” at the end of a phone call. My mother saying “Good night,” as I fall asleep.
What sound do you hate?
The sound of empty promises.
What is your favorite curse word?
Fuck. It’s simple, fricative, and sounds like what it means.
What profession other than yours would you like to attempt?
Stand-up comedian, film director, travel writer.
What profession would you not like to do?
Anything requiring sensible shoes.
