Miami is a crazy place and through out the year the city hosts some big events but nothing gets crazier than Spring Break, Ultra and Winter Music Conference all happening at the same time.
For those who are into music, especially electronic music, then there is no other place you should have been, even Madonna made a surprise appearance.
24 stages featuring 350 DJs, bands, and producers. 200,000 electronic music fans from all over the globe attended the Ultra Music Festival this year. Aside from Ultra, hit South Beach and you will be overwhelmed with endless pool parties to sunset and sunrise sets, you are lucky if you can catch some sleep. And if you did want to sleep, good luck getting a room, every single hotel in South Beach was sold out for the week, now that’s impressive!
Who we saw, Justice, Jamie Jones, Skrillex, Seth Troxler and David Guetta, Steve Aoki, Laidback Luke, Aviici playing at different nightclubs.
Who we didn’t want to see, but saw everywhere: Hotel heiress and socialite Paris Hilton following and falling around boyfriend AfroJack.
Highlights:
Penthouse private party with Aviici spinning overlooking the Miami skyline and a room full of South Beaches finest.
Annual party at Pdiddy’s. After spotting P Diddy at the Circoloco party, we caught up with him and Idirs Elba from The Wire at his house for the after party.
With non stop events from dusk till dawn, I think I got enough music to last the year…now back to LA for some detox…but not for long with Coachella around the corner.
