I had a chance to sit down and ask my friend some simple questions. We always talk biz when we get together. We always have laughs on his podcast show, but this time I got him to actually think & answer the tough ones. ;-) Mo is a leader in the Juliland Universe and a BIG help with ALL that we do. He has done more than most and see a whole lot more. Living “the average life” is not easy, but he makes it look good.
What makes you so average?
I refer to myself as being “average” because I’m just an average guy working to pay the bills, that happens to work in the porn industry. I don’t have just one set job in the industry, one day I’m a Production Manager, the next day I’m a Production Assistant, a Photographer, a Wardrobe Stylist, a Director or even a Performer. On really good days, I get to shoot and perform in POV BJ scenes for the movies I produce for Madness Pictures. With the exception of having an amazing girlfriend, overall I have an average lifestyle, average apartment, average car, I’m an average guy that has a not so average job.
What do you love about porn?
Getting to hang out with hot naked girls! That’s what I’m supposed to say, right?

Asa Akira – Asa has created her own empire, every performer that is looking to make porn a career should be paying attention to what Asa does.
Dani Daniels – Besides being a great performer Dani is also an amazing artist with a lot of talent.
Alex Chance – Alex works hard as a performer, but she’s also a smart woman that is involved with industry politics. She also has amazing tits and if I didn’t put her on the list, she wouldn’t let me play with her tits.
Lisa Ann – Lisa is one of the most professional people I’ve been on set with, I appreciate and respect that.

What does being a board member of the FSC truly mean to you?
I’m passionate about making the adult industry a better place to work for both performers and behind the scenes talent. In the past few years, I have spent a lot of time and energy fighting off attacks from a group that is determined to control how the adult industry runs. I have been on the FSC Board for almost a year, and it’s been a great experience for me to learn from and work with industry leaders that are on the board. When I ran for the board, my goal was to bring a different voice to the table, one from the view of the people on set set, both talent and crew. I have worked hard to earn the respect of my fellow board members, and I hope to continue to serving on the board for many years to come.
What is your most embarrassing moment on a porn set?
My most embarrassing moment happened on the set of the New Sensations movie Ashlynn Goes to College 3. I had only been in the industry for a few months, on this set I was a grip and was running the C-Light during the scene. Ashlynn Brooke was a contract girl that I didn’t know very well, during one of her sex scenes she stop fucking, looked at me and asked me why I was staring at her pussy. I was pretty shocked at this because my job was to light her pussy, so of course I have to look at it. Ashlynn stopped the scene and yelled for the Producer to kick me off set. The Gaffer took the light told me to go start packing up the truck, before I could make it half way across the room, Ashlynn came in laughing telling me she was just fucking with me. Most of the crew was in on the joke, so the camera guys caught the whole thing on tape and the company put it in the behind-the-scenes for the DVD.
Why is your podcast show MORE w/Mo so good?
My guests on MORE w/Mo may work in the adult industry, but that’s not all there is to them. My show gives them a chance to talk about MORE than just porn, they can discuss their other talents and passions as well. I’m always joined by the man that rules the Juliland Universe, Mr. Richard Avery, together we keep the show fun and entertaining. We always joke around that only 3 people listen to the show, so we can say or do whatever we want without pissing anyone off.
What is your favorite kind of porn and why?

What kind of photography do you love to look at and what kind do you love to shoot?
My favorite photography to look at is fashion and portraiture, I like to see both beauty and personality in photographs. I’m a fan of simplicity, I’m inspired by many photographers, but Richard Avedon is someone I go back to time and time again to gain inspiration.
